Level 1 of the WIAA playoffs got underway
Tuesday night. Let's take a brief look at what transpired by the numbers.
5-0 That's the record of the HON teams after Level 1. One of the more
surprising turn of events was Bloomer going on the road and
stifling the Osceola RB duo of Traynor and Tarmon with a 21-7
victory. Bloomer gets another stiff Middle Border test this Saturday
when they host Somerset.
6-0 That was the score of one the bigger upset victories around the
state. Chippewa Falls McDonell went on the road and beat previously
unbeaten Glenwood City.
1:00, 4:00, 7:00 Those are the kick-off times football junkies around
this area are looking at along with a travel map for Level 2 games. A
person could easily see a division 7 match-up between Hilbert and
Eleva-Strum along Hwy 10 at 1:00 and then around 4:00 head east along Hwy 10 to
see Plum City face Gilman in Mondovi and then to cap off the tripleheader head
north to Chippewa Falls to see McDonell host Clear Lake.
Now let's make our area picks for Level 2 games. Our friend and information
guru Billybobble is filling in for Ben on these picks.

Solon Springs plays Greenwood for a D-4 sectional volleyball title
later today. It is believed Solon Springs is playing for it's first trip to
