The combined record of the Eau Claire Memorial hockey team, the Eleva-Strum boys basketball team and the Flambeau girls basketball team this past season was 79-1. Is it any wonder they all brought home WIAA gold trophies. :) WQOW-TV18 will air a special show "Salute to the Champions" honoring those 3 teams this Saturday at 4:30.

 

UW-Stout's Julia Hirssig was recently named to the D3hoops.com All-Central Region Women's Basketball team.

 

Jason Eckert has resigned after 6 season as the Colfax head football coach to become the new head football coach at New Richmond.

As of this writing these are the known head football coach openings in this area.

Eau Claire Memorial, Eau Claire Regis and Colfax.

 

Katheryn Roesler has been named the new head volleyball coach at Chippewa Falls McDonell.

 

Marty Langhough, Dean Olson, Rod Crase and Kelly Runkle will be inducted into the Chetek Bulldogs Boosters Hall of Fame on April 4th.
