QB - Andy Gewiss - Mosinee

With perhaps the most clutch performance of the season, Andy Gewiss carried his Mosinee team to an upset victory 28-27 over Rice Lake in the Level 4 playoffs. Andy's first half play was anything but remarkable as Rice Lake raced to a 21-0 lead and a certain win. Gewiss led the Indians to 28 second half points and an amazing comeback to send Mosinee to Madison and the state finals. For the game, Gewiss completed 19 of 28 passes for 186 yards and a touchdown, ran 21 times for 63 yards and 3 touchdowns and also kicked 4 extra points including the game winner with just over a minute remaining in the contest.
