Week of September 21st - September 27th, 2009
Adam Esselman
RB :: Colby
( Rushing Stats for the week )  14 Rushes, 180 yards, 2 TDs (59 & 37 yards)
( Rushing Stats for the season )  98 Rushes, 775 yards, 10 TDs

Colby's 5'10", 230 lb. running back led the Hornets to a stunning comeback 24-22 win @ Carson Park last Saturday over Regis. Esselman had 4 runs over 20 yards including TDs from 59 and 37 yards despite the Ramblers keying on his every carry. Esselman may not have the surrounding cast that captured the D5 state title last year (in which Esselman had 157 yards and 3 TDs) but that hasn't kept him from shouldering the burden of expectations and leading Colby to a 5-0 record and the inside track for the Cloverbelt title and another run at Madison.
