| The Gilman Pirates opened against a tough Wausau
Newman squad to begin their 2010 season. Trailing Newman at halftime, 21-20, the
Pirates made the decision to feature Rosemeyer to the tune of 4 second half TD
runs of 26, 17, 17 and 64 yards to lead Gilman to a 21 point win, 48-27. Cody
finished with 272 yards of total offense as he continues the proud Rosemeyer
legacy for Gilman. Thorp and Gilman could very well dominate the Cloverwood this
season with the head to head winner taking home the crown. |
