When St. Croix Central makes a highlight film of their 2011 season, they could just show plays made by Korey Jacobson in Week 2 and be done with it. In the Panthers 48-20 impressive win over next door neighbor Baldwin-Woodville, the speedy halfback returned a fumble 32 yards in the first quarter to give SCC the lead and they never looked back. His 82 yard return of a Baldwin pass to the endzone pushed the third quarter lead to 34-6 and the game was essentially over. Tack on 3 TDs rushing and 153 yards on only 9 carries of the football, and Korey had a game that will not soon be forgotten in the halls of SCC or on the field in Baldwin. At 2-0 in the preseason with wins over larger schools in Barron and Baldwin, Coach Tony Disalvo and the Panthers have established themselves as the early favorites to win the Dunn - St. Croix title.
