 Game Result: Clayton 34, Pepin/Alma 28
Packer fans hope Aaron Rodgers has games like Kyle Larson of Clayton had last Friday. Larson was on fire, as the young QB threw for 404 yards on 19 completions in 34 attempts in the Bears 34-28 come from behind win over Pepin / Alma. Five of those completions wound up as touchdowns with the longest going 80 yards to Zachary Schradle. Schradle also finished a great night with 6 catches for 187 yards and a second touchdown. Coach Chris Berghammer's Bears had a good year last year at 7-3, but seem destined to top that with a strong 3-0 start that includes a big non conference win over rival Clear Lake. Elmwood and Lake Holcombe appear to be the challenges on the schedule, but this could be Clayton's year.
