| The Macks 6' 5" quarterback has been red hot
throwing the football and has seen the McDonell season take a sudden upsurge in
their attempt to qualify for the playoffs out of the Cloverwood conference. Last
Friday, Kyle and the Macks, took apart Abbottsford 53-20 while throwing for 358
yards and 3 touchdowns and also adding 38 yards on the ground for a whopping 396
yards of total offense. McDonell started off slow this year, dropping their
first three games by a touchdown, but appear to have righted the ship and now
are staring at a huge home match up with conference leader Athens. Cody, who
leads the area in passing so far this season with 1436 yards through the air on
106 completions in 209 attempts for 16 TDs, needs to come up big to pull off the
upset. |
