Game Result: Loyal 34, Gilman 0
The Greyhounds have been a surprise team this season in the Cloverwood conference. Powerhouse Athens beat them 35-7 to open the season but Loyal has improved dramatically since then to become a real playoff threat. Led by senior Dylan Much at running back, Loyal has been on a roll since that opening loss. Last week, Much ran for 238 yards and 3 TDs in a 34-0 win over rival Gilman to move the Greyhound's record to 6-1. For the season, Much has rushed for 742 yards in 116 carries and added 12 TDs to that total. Look for Loyal to make some noise in the upcoming playoffs as they are playing their best football of the season.
