Elk Mound is expected to be a team with potential to go to Madison this season but apparently C-W didn't read all the media stories. The Bulldogs physically dominated the Mounders on defense and the offense, led by senior QB Dawson Davis, scored three times through the air to cap a stunning 21-6 opening upset. The 6'4" Davis is the key to C-W's success this season and judging by his 17-35 225 yard effort against Elk Mound, the Bulldogs have established themselves as a contender in the HON this year. A strong D2 college recruit, Davis threw for 1614 yards and 14 TDs in 2015 and will likely blow those numbers away this year if C-W stays healthy.
