Game Result: Altoona  27, Colby  14
The Altoona Railroaders are off to a blazing 2-0 start after their impressive 27-14 win at Colby. The Rails have an explosive running game featuring standout senior RB Connor Klatt. Klatt ran for 227 yards Friday but none bigger than the 88 yard fourth quarter burst that iced the road win for Altoona. Klatt opened the season in a big way, with 278 yards and 5 TDs against an overmatched Cadott squad and now is halfway to that magical 1000 yard mark, with 505 yards on only 33 carries. In two weeks, Altoona plays their first home game against a Regis defense that limited Stanley-Boyd's stellar running attack to only 92 yards in their win last week. Klatt needs more early season big numbers to lead Altoona in their challenge for the Cloverbelt crown.
