Stanley-Boyd rarely features one back in their offense, in part because they have a multi-talented group and in part because they are often well ahead in their victories. In the Orioles 37-6 win over Colby, Ben Turner was a workhorse with 10 carries but he turned those into 173 yards and 3 TDs. Turner averages 9 yards per carry, and in a different program, he would be well over a 1000 yards going into Week 9, but with only 53 carries on the season, Big Ben's numbers are humble at best. On defense though, well that is where Turner shines. The LB/DE/DB slash any position you want him to play, leads the Orioles with 126 total tackles on the year. Add 12 sacks to those totals and you have one of the fiercest defensive players in Northwest Wisconsin at any level. As Stanley-Boyd wraps up another Cloverbelt championship this week, look for Turner and the Orioles defense to make a hard push to Camp Randall in November.
