| 31-29,,, The final score of the Level 3 playoff
loss to Grantsburg hurt more than any bumps and bruises that Cade Osborn felt
last Friday. But the senior knows he could not have played any harder than he
did in his final game of the season. Osborn carried 20 times for Regis for 153
yards and a touchdown in the Ramblers' double wing attack. It didn't match Leo
Chenal's 41 carries but there is no doubt Osborn would have carried the ball 41
times if he was asked to. On the other side of the ball, Osborn was in on 19
tackles for a defense that swarmed over Grantsburg runners. Regis finished the
season with an 11-1 record and the Cloverbelt championship and lose a large core
of talented seniors, but Coach Bryant Brenner will find a way to be a favorite
in the Cloverbelt in 2019. |
