In their Level 4 contest against undefeated Little Chute, SCC trailed 13-0 in the first quarter and things looked bleak for the Middle Border champs. Enter bulldozing FB Ryan Larson. Larson scored 3 times in the second quarter to give the Panthers a 21-13 lead. Little Chute drew first blood in the third to close within two at 21-19. Larson then responded with the biggest play of the game as he broke free and outran the Little Chute secondary for an 86 yard touchdown and once more control of the game. A fifth Larson TD at the beginning of the fourth quarter sealed Little Chute's fate and the Panther's were once again on the way to Madison with the 48-25 win. Larson also leads the Panthers from his middle linebacker spot as indicated by his 12 tackles against the Mustangs. SCC, behind Larson's two way standout play, will be tough to beat at Camp Randall.
