Elk Mound may only be 2-2 but those losses came to two of the best teams in their division in the state. St. Croix Central and Mondovi wound up on top of the Mounders but the next five teams on their schedule had better invest in new fire extinguishers because here comes Blaze Todd. This Elk Mound running back has to be fast with a name like Blaze and his numbers prove him out. Against Boyceville last week, Todd scored 5 rushing touchdowns and totaled 273 yards on 23 carries. That made the third time in four games that Todd has gone over 200 yards rushing and he has a good shot at hitting the 1000 yard mark this week when the Mounders face Durand.
