| This is the second time that Todd has won Player
of the Week honors, this time with an impressive 314 yards against the Altoona
Railroaders. Last week, Altoona jumped out with two quick scores, sandwiched
around a 16 TD run by Todd, to give the Rails the lead in the first quarter
14-8. Todd and the Mounders made sure that was the last of any threats from
Altoona as he scored four of the next five Elk Mound rushing touchdowns before
halftime to salt the game away. It marked the fifth time Todd had gone over the
200 yard mark for a game this season as his season rushing total ballooned to
1581 yards. A win over a weak GWC team this week will certainly add to Todd's
push towards 2000 yards rushing for the season, but will also get the Mounders
into the playoffs where anything can happen for Elk Mound as long as the other
team is not Mondovi. |
