Nothing flashy about Eau Claire North's Remy Rassbach's stats from last Thursday. The senior running back had 23 carries for 72 yards, which were stats for a lot of backs in northwest Wisconsin last week. BUT, throw in 1 TD rushing and it makes all the difference in the world. Rassbach's 4 yard plunge into the end zone with 4:17 to play in the fourth quarter gave the Huskies a 20-14 lead over La Crosse Logan that would hold up for the win and the sweet taste of victory. A taste that had been denied consecutive times since August 28, 2015, when North won a wild 53-43 game against Logan. North now has to set its sights on a Big Rivers win that would end a conference 40 game losing streak, but as the saying goes, "You can't win two in a row without winning the first one!". Mission accomplished Huskies, well done.
