2007 -08 Season
Jeff Skemp Michelle Burns
Center :: UW-Platteville Forward :: UW-Eau Claire

The 6'10 junior alumnus from Southwestern, WI has been named to the Third Team All-American from D3hoops.com and from the NABC. Skemp led the Pioneers in scoring with 15.2 points per game and rebounding with 8.3 rebounds per game. Skemp also set a Pioneer record converting 64.7 % of his FG shots. The old mark was set by Rob Jeter. Skemp was also named a WWS player of the week back in November.

The senior alumnus from Eau Claire North was named an Honorable Mention NCAA Division III All-American. She was also named the WIAC player of the year, WIAC Judy Kruckman Scholar-Athlete of the year, a First Team All-WIAC selection and to the D3hoops.com All-Central Region Second Team. Burns led the Blugolds in scoring with 14.2 points per game and ended her Blugold career with 1,230 points which ranks 8th on the all-time Blugolds scoring list. Burns was also a two-time WWS player of the week this season.

The 6'3 senior guard from Brooklyn Park, MN had a double-double in UW-Stout's opening night 93-89 overtime win over Finlandia University. Webb had 32 points and 11 rebounds. Miles then went on and had 20 points, 4 steals and grabbed 4 rebounds in UW-Stout's 81-63 victory over Viterbo College in the championship game of UW-Stout's tip-off tournament.  The 6'0 center from Beloit was dominant in both of the Warhawks impressive victories over the weekend. Tiffany had 21 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals in 19 minutes of action in the Warhawks 92-46 win over Millikin College. She followed that up with 21 points and 11 boards in the Warhawks 93-74 win over Maryville.

The 6'10 junior from Southwestern had a double-double over the weekend at the University of St. Louis, MO tournament. He had 12 points and 10 rebounds on Saturday in the Pioneers 65-50 win vs Webster University and came back with 23 points and 6 rebounds on Sunday vs St. Louis in the Pioneers 87-76 loss. The 5'11 guard from Wausau East had a career-high 20 points in the Pointers 65-54 road win at Wheaton College, IL on Saturday. On Friday night the senior guard had 18 points and 4 rebounds in the Pointers 81-64 road win at North Central College, IL.

The senior from Waukesha had a pair of 20 point performances last week in the Blugolds road wins over St. Scholastica and UW-Stout. He added a pair of rebounds in the win over St. Scholastica and controlled the boards with 7 rebounds in the win over UW-Stout. The junior guard from Thorp helped propel the Blugolds to a pair of wins over tough opponents last week. Heidi had 19 points and grabbed 3 rebounds in the win over NCAA D-2 St. Cloud State and had 13 points and 3 rebounds in the road win over UW-Stout.

The 6'1 freshman from Milwaukee scored 20 points in the Eagles 76-61 loss to UW-Stevens Point last Wednesday and had 22 points and 6 rebounds in the Eagles 64-49 win over UW-Eau Claire on Saturday. The 5'11 senior forward Eau Claire Husky alum had 21 points in the Blugolds 73-61 win at UW-Platteville last Wednesday and had a double-double 12 points and 11 rebounds in the Blugolds 77-61 win at UW-La Crosse on Saturday.

The 6'3 freshman sensation from Duluth, MN dropped 31 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in the Blugolds 78-76 win over Finlandia, MI. Shea is averaging 17.4 points per game so far this season. The 5'9 sophomore guard from Bloomington, WI had a career high 20 points and also grabbed 5 rebounds in the Pioneers 64-49 win over Dubuque, IA.

The 6'4 sophomore from Bayside had 24 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in the Titans 81-72 win over Tri-State, Indiana last week. The 5'6 sophomore guard from Milwaukee (Wisconsin Lutheran) had 23 points that included going 3-3 from 3 point range and grabbed 6 rebounds in the Warhawks 88-61 win over Coe College, IA last week.

The 6'2 sophomore Eau Claire Regis graduate had a career high 20 points including 6 treys in the Blue Devils 97-79 loss to Buena Vista, IA last week. The 6'0 junior Eau Claire Regis graduate scored a season high 24 points in the Eagles 85-76 win over Bridgewater State, MA and 21 points in the Eagles 68-61 over Connecticut College last week.

The 5'9 junior guard from Minneapolis poured in 25 points to go along with 5 rebounds in the Falcons 88-82 loss to UW-Whitewater last Saturday. The 5'10 junior forward from Lomira had 10 points and 6 rebounds in the Pioneers win over Augustana College on Jan 2nd and then had 18 points and grabbed 11 boards in the Pioneers 80-68 loss to UW-Stout on Saturday.

The 6'6 forward from Wisconsin Rapids had 12 points and 2 rebounds in the Pointers 87-44 win over UW-River Falls and then went on to score 22 points and grab 6 rebounds in the Pointers 70-67 win over UW-Platteville. The 5'8 freshman guard from Sturtevant, WI had 18 points, 5 rebounds an 2 blocked shots in the Titans 66-63 loss to UW-Platteville. She then went on to score 14 points and grab 2 rebounds in the Titans 67-62 win over UW-Superior.

The freshman sensation from Altoona had 14 points and grabbed 3 boards in the Yellowjackets 76-74 win over UW-River Falls. He then went on to score 18 points and haul in 4 rebounds in the Yellowjackets 78-57 loss to UW-Stevens Point.  The senior from Eau Claire North who is the first repeat WWS WIAC player of the week scored 24 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in the Blugolds 62-54 win over UW-Oshkosh. She then went on to score a double-double 18 points and 11 rebounds in the Blugolds 79-60 win over UW-River Falls. Michelle eclipsed the 1,000 point mark in her Blugold career in the win over UW-River Falls.

The 6'0 junior guard from Milwaukee had 19 points, 8 assists and grabbed 5 rebounds in the Eagles 76-61 win over UW-River Falls. He then went to score 14 points in the Eagles 72-65 win over UW-Eau Claire. The 5'9 sophomore from Fredonia scored 16 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in the Warhawks 85-63 win over UW-Platteville. She then poured in 13 points in the Warhawks 92-41 easy win over UW-Superior.

The 6'1 sophomore guard from Deerfield, IL scored 16 points in the Pioneers 71-55 win over UW-Oshkosh and then went on to equal that output to go along with 3 steals in UW-Platteville's 71-60 win over UW-River Falls. The 5'6 junior guard from Kieler, WI scored 21 points and hauled down 11 rebounds in the Pioneers 71-62 loss to UW-Oshkosh. She then went on to score 16 points and grab 9 rebounds in the Pioneers 73-56 win over UW-River Falls.

The junior guard from Hudson scored 26 points and grabbed 3 rebounds in the Titans 89-87 win over UW-Eau Claire. He then went on to score 15 points to go along with 5 assists in the Titans 78-63 win over UW-La Crosse. The 6'1 two-time letter winner from Burnsville, MN scored 19 points and yanked down 7 rebounds in the Eagles 65-58 win over UW-Platteville. She then went on to score 11 points and grab 4 rebounds in the Eagles 67-58 win over UW-Oshkosh.
Week of February 11th - February 17th, 2008

Forward :: UW-Superior Forward :: UW-Stout
The freshman forward from Rhinelander scored 22 points and hauled in 10 rebounds in the Spartans 93-88 loss to UW-Stout. He then went on to score 23 points and grab 7 boards in the Spartans 70-59 win over UW-Platteville. Jake also went 10-11 from the free throw line during this 2 game stretch. The sophomore from Rochester had back to back double-doubles last week for the Blue Devils. She scored 10 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the Blue Devils win over UW-Superior. She then went on to pour in 26 points and haul in 11 rebounds in the Blue Devils 60-57 loss to UW-La Crosse.

The junior guard from Menomonee Falls scored a career high 27 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in the Warhawks 66-51 win over UW-Oshkosh. He then went on to score 17 points and haul in 5 boards in the Warhawks 80-75 win over UW-River Falls. The junior guard from Thorp scored 30 points to go with 5 rebounds in the Blugolds 77-74 win over UW-Stout. She also scored 4 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in the Blugolds 76-67 win over UW-Platteville.
